A weekly look at gas prices in the Medfield area.

Editor's note: "At the Pump" is a weekly feature on Medfield Patch where you'll find a weekly roundup of gas prices in town. Specifically, the focus will be on how prices are changing from week to week, what prices are available, and how they compare to the local, state, and national averages.

This week, the average price for regular unleaded gas in the Boston area on Monday was $3.31 per gallon, down two cents from last week, according to BostonGasPrices.com, which also listed the state average as $3.30 per gallon, also down two cents from a week ago. The national average on Monday was $3.28 per gallon, one cent less than this time last week.

In Medfield, three of the town's five gas stations tied for the cheapest gas -- with unleaded regular fuel priced at $3.26 a gallon - including the Irving station on Spring Street, the Cumberland Farms station on Main Street (corner of Routes 109 and 27), and the Sunoco Station at 212 Main Street.  Next in line is the Gulf Station at 270 Main Street at $3.30 a gallon, followed by the most expensive gas in town at the Mobil station on the corner of Main and North Streets selling regular unleaded fuel at $3.40 per gallon.
