Medfield Gas Price Tracker: Aug. 30

A weekly look at gas prices in the Medfield area.

"At the Pump" is a weekly feature on Medfield Patch where you'll find a weekly roundup of gas prices in town. Specifically, the focus will be on how prices are changing from week to week, what prices are available, and how they compare to the local, state, and national averages. 

This week, the average price for regular unleaded gas in the Boston area on Monday was $3.64 per gallon, one cent less than last week, according to BostonGasPrices.com, which also listed the state average as $3.64 per gallon, which has no change from a week ago. The national average on Monday was $3.61 per gallon.

In Medfield, the cheapest gas can once again be found at the Sunoco on Main Street by Shaw’s Plaza as well as the Irving station on Spring Street on Route 27 and the Cumberland Farms on the corner of Routes 109 and 27 on Main Street. These stations list regular unleaded gas at $3.59 per gallon. The most expensive gas in town continues to be at the Mobil on North Street, which has regular unleaded fuel priced at $3.69 per gallon and premium gas at $3.99 per gallon.
