The average price for regular unleaded gas in the Boston area on Monday was $3.69 per gallon and is reportedly on the rise, according to BostonGasPrices.com, which also listed the state average as $3.69 per gallon, which remained stable. The national average on Monday was $3.59 per gallon.
In Medfield, the cheapest gas can be found at three stations for $3.64 a gallon: Cumberland Farms, Irving and Sunoco. The most expensive gas in town is at the Mobil on North Street, which has regular unleaded fuel priced at $3.75 per gallon.
