The signs are there: Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts will soon be opening their latest locations in Medfield.
On Tuesday, the Dunkin Donuts signs showed up at the corner of Routes 109 and 27 to let passersby know that the town's second DD location will soon be offering "Coffee & More." Plans submitted to the town during the permit process called for ice cream to again be served from the walk-up take-out window.
Editor's Note: The other DD location at the Medfield Commons gas station is owned by the same person, Michael Cavallo of the DLT Family Limited Partnership.
At the same time, a few blocks down the street, Starbucks' famous twin-tailed mermaid (or Siren) was installed on the national chain's Medfield location set to open next month at the corner of Main and North Streets.
