Lord's Update: Announcement Soon

Owner says he is close to announcing a new tenant for the former Lord's Department Store.

 

It's been nearly three months since the lights went out at the former Lord's Department Store.

Today, new owner Greg Salvatore of Salvatore Capital Partners, says he is close to signing a new tenant.

"We're closer to hopefully introducing a client that will be taking over the entire property," said Salvatore, who is also bringing Starbucks to downtown Medfield. 

"I'm hoping that we will be able to jointly -- us as the developer and the tenant -- be able to make a statement saying 'This is the type of use'" that will be in there, he said. "Hopefully, that will be soon."
