Jenny Boston Company Opens Boutique in Medfield

The Jenny Boston Company has opened its doors at 479 Main St. Wednesday and will offer customers a unique experience in boutique shopping.

“The design is typical of a high-end boutique with beautiful décor and finishes but yet also offers a warm shopping experience and off-retail pricing,” said store manager Amie Donlan. 

Donlan said that, unlike larger retail stores, Jenny Boston buys in small quantities, which allows them to keep their prices low and their product fresh. 

“Our merchandise changes very quickly, new product is brought in every week and the inventory is never the same twice," Donlan said. "It allows our customers to always find the latest and greatest trends and classic pieces while, at the same time, being individual and not seeing their purchases on every woman in town. It is not uncommon for our customers to be on a first name basis with our store associates as most become frequent shoppers, stopping in weekly to see what’s new.”

After a lengthy search, Jenny Boston – which is owned by Jennifer DeMaria and Kristen Maynard – chose Medfield because of its accessibility, vicinity to existing customers, and its “charming downtown.”

“It just seemed like a perfect fit,” said Donlan.

Jenny Boston has other locations in Belmont, Hingham, and Westborough as well as Fairfield, Conn.

Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with expanded hours during the holiday season. The store is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
