Fan Says Lord's Belongs in "Retail Hall of Fame"

The Thrifty New Englander stopped by Lord's recently and said Medfield's piece of Americana belonged in a Retail Hall of Fame.

 

The editor of The Thrifty New Englander talks about his disappointment that Lord's Department Store is closing after 73 years in business.

The writer tells of his recent visit to the store -- complete with mention of Bubble Gum Bob and Ruthie's Diner -- and says the store should be placed in the retail "Hall of Fame."
