Zullo Gallery Calls for Artists to Participate in 17th Annual Juried Exhibition

Zullo Gallery is currently accepting applications for artists' works to be displayed in the gallery as part of its 17th Annual Juried Exhibition.

The Zullo Gallery is currently accepting entries for its 17th Annual Juried Exhibition.

This exhibit will begin the gallery's 23rd season and is one of the most popular exhibit's out of 6 to 7 the gallery presents each year.

"It generally features a wide range of work by both emerging and established artists in a variety of mediums," said William Pope, executive director of Zullo Gallery.

The exhibit is open to all artists 18 years and older and runs from Sept. 17 to Nov. 6. All mediums of work are accepted and artists may submit up to three pieces of work - on CD or by e-mail, files must be in jpg form with a resolution of at least 300dpi. Work must have been created within the past two years and the Zullo Gallery requests a $20 donation from each applicant. For applicants e-mailing work, visit the Zullo Gallery website, under "HOME" and scroll down to "DONATION" to make the $20 donation. In the comment area be sure to write 17th Juried Exhibit. Checks should be made payable to the Zullo Gallery.

  • Artist's name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
  • Title, size, medium and date each work was completed.

Applications can be sent through mail to: Zullo Gallery, 17th Annual Exhibition, 456 Main St., Medfield MA 02052. 

Deadline:

  • All entries must be received by Wednesday, Aug. 17. If you would like application material returned then include a self-addressed stamped envelop. 

Notification:

  • All artists will be notified by e-mail of the juror's selection by Sept. 2. 
  • Selected art work must be properly framed and delivered to the Zullo Gallery by Saturday, Sept. 10. The gallery reserves the right to exclude any work that, on delivery, is different from what was presented in artist's application. All work must be fore sale. The gallery receives a 35 percent commission on all work sold. Images of selected work may be used for publicity purposes.

Urban Scenes, Buildings and Places Exhibit Currently on Display at Zullo Gallery

Stop by the Zullo Gallery at 456A Main St. from now until Sept. 1 to see work from Nancy Deveno, Sean Flood, Rick Legge and David Sturtevant. The artists' reception will be held on Thursday, July 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. and is open and free to the public. The gallery's rooftop deck is open from 5 to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday evenings and the gallery's hours are Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.
