Video: Blake Middle and Medfield High School Bands Find Harmony Together at Concert

The Blake Middle School Honors Wind Ensemble and High School Concert Band played brilliantly together at the Feb. 16 Mid-Winter Concert at the Lowell Mason Auditorium in the high school. 

The Blake Honors Wind Ensemble performed two pieces on its own: "Brother Jame's Air" and "Sea Song Trilogy." The middle school and Medfield High School ensembles combined to play two songs: "Rivers" and "Mister Joe" before the High School Concert Band took the stage to close out the evening with five songs, two of which were performed by the percussion ensemble.

Those numbers were:

• Overture to "Candide"
• Snares, Traps, and Other Hunting Devices (Percussion Ensemble)
• Irish Tune from County Derry
• Fire (Percussion Ensemble)
• The Inferno
