The Infractions Set to Play Thursday at The Gazebo

MAP will host "The Infractions" on June 23 at the Gazebo in Medfield as part of MEMO's Summer Concert Series.

The Medfield Afterschool Program, MAP, will be hosts for “The Infractions,” at the June 23 Concert At the Gazebo, sponsored by MEMO, The Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization, and its corporate sponsor Needham Bank.

All Thursday concerts begin at 6 p.m. and are family friendly. The surrounding park, adjacent to the library, is perfect for picnics from home or a light supper purchased at nearby food establishments. The atmosphere is casual so bring chairs and blankets and the kids, who are welcome to dance and sing with the bands.

The seven-member Infractions ensemble, started in 1990, features a three-piece horn section known as “the Happening Horns” and a four-piece rhythm section.  The band’s music ranges from Funk and Hip Hop to contemporary Ska and Swing combined with 70’s and 80’s favorites.
