'Route 109' to Perform in Summer Concert Series on July 21

Route 109 is known for its classics and modern hits as their international musical guests mix and blend rhythm and swing with Euro-pop and Calypso.

The group "Route 109" makes its Gazebo debut on Thursday, July 21 at 6 p.m. for the MEMO, Medfield Employer and Merchants Organization, Summer Concert Series. 

The weekly concerts, supported in part by MEMO’s member and corporate Needham Bank, is held adjacent to the library on Main Street, right there on Route 109 in Medfield Center. This local band is being hosted for the evening by the Medfield's New ‘N Towne organization.

Route 109 is known for its classics and modern hits as their international musical guests mix and blend rhythm and swing with Euro-pop and Calypso. Route 109 was formerly known as "Men of Cause" and "Mid-Life Crisis." It features Medfield’s Larry Kramer (lead singer, guitar, tambourine) and Andy Spencer (bass, vocals); Boston & Rome’s Stefano Bellezza (guitar, vocals), Ashland’s Sean Keaveny (drums) and guest musicians.

Since 2008, the band has entertained more than a dozen audiences across the state and raised over $30,000 for various causes. Route 109 looks forward to entertaining the crowd by creating enjoyable summertime music for the whole family.

Join the fun: dance and sing along with the band or just listen as you enjoy your picnic supper and visiting with your neighbors.

Next week Acoustic Fire returns to the Gazebo with its rock and dance music, hosted by Rockland Trust Bank. The concerts are free and open to the public each week beginning mid-June to mid-August. Each concert has a local or MEMO host to help defray costs and promote itself as a Medfield merchant.
