Horns in the House Returns to the Gazebo Thursday

With Thursday's weather calling for sunshine and temperatures around 80 degrees, it is a perfect opportunity to catch the "Horns in the House" at the Gazebo as part of MEMO's Summer Concert Series.

Horns in the House returns to the Medfield Gazebo by popular demand on June 30 at 6 p.m., hosted by MEMO member Borchers Law, P.C.

The 10-week concert series is brought to Medfield through the generosity of the Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization, MEMO, with thanks to its corporate sponsor Needham Bank. The 10 concert series begins Thursday evenings in the summer at 6 p.m. in Gazebo Park adjacent to the library - weather permitting.

An all-time favorite with concert-goers, Horns in the House consists of eight musicians who produce a strong sound recognized by the “punctuating horns.” They include trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, flute and saxophone. The rhythm section boasts acoustic and electric guitars, piano/organ, bass and percussion.  Plenty of harmony is supplied by a female lead and male backup. Together there is enough variety to cover all styles: R&B, classic rock, swing, disco, blues and contemporary hits.
