The Woodland Theatre Company presents the musical "Cabaret" at The Lowell Mason Auditorium, on the campus of Medfield High School.
Winner of 12 Tony Awards and 8 Academy Award, Cabaret, focuses on nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub on the eve of Hitler’s rise to power in Germany in the 1930's. The story revolves around English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer Cliff Bradshaw. Musical numbers include, Wilkommen, Money, and Cabaret.
Cabaret is based on the Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb, Book by Joe Masteroff, Directed by Doug Hodge and Music Direction by Julia Scott Carey.
