Today's story time features "Stellaluna" by Janell Cannon.

After Stellaluna and her mother are attacked by an owl, the tiny fruit bat lands headfirst in a bird's nest. The mother bird allows her to stay as long as she does not teach the baby birds bad tricks -- like hanging upside down to sleep.
