Local Author Vittorio Palumbo talks about "Italian Days, Arabian Nights"

Medfield Talks with local author Vittorio Palumbo about his book, "Italian Days, Arabian Nights: Coming of Age in the Shadow of Mussolini."

Mr. Palumbo tells the story of his family escaping poverty in Italy by answering their fascist leader’s call to colonize Arab lands, only to have six-year-old Vittorio stolen and forced into Mussolini’s military schools.

This is the story of family, separation, courage, reunion, and ultimately love.
