Your Guide to Christmas Eve Services Around Medfield

Here's a schedule of Christmas Eve services at churches around town.

For those looking to participate in church services during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to celebrate the birth of Christ, here's a list of times and services at various churches around town.

Join UCC Medfield on Christmas Eve at 5:30 p.m. for its family service featuring the Cherub, Training, and Treble Choirs. At its 7:30 p.m. service, the church's Sanctuary Choir, Chapel Bell Ensemble and guest brass ensemble will perform and at its 10 p.m. service, Communion will be served. For safety reasons, the church will offer overflow seating in its parlor where you may participate in the service via a direct feed on the large screen TV. On Christmas morning, UCC will have one Service of Lessons and Carols at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. There is no nursery coverage, Sunday School or Praise Service that morning.

Come and celebrate the birth of Christ, the King whose life was lived under the shadow of the Cross. Christmas Eve Service is at 6 p.m., and Christmas Morning worship will be at 10:30 a.m. On Christmas Eve, the church will be looking at John 1:1-18, The Word Made Flesh and Our Adoption." And looking at Who this Baby is, and what that means for our lives. On Christmas Day, the church will be looking at Luke 2:1-20, "the Shepherds Tale," looking at the Christmas story through the eyes of the shepherds.

Christmas Eve candelight service will be directed by Rev. Richard M. Stower and held at 5:30 p.m. The church will gather for its traditional Christmas Eve Service of music and readings and candlelight. Families and friends are invited. There will be no service on Christmas Day.

St. Edward's will hold Christmas Eve mass at 4, 6 and 8 p.m. Christmas Day mass will be held at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.
