When Do We Turn Back The Clocks?

It's late this year but, no worries, those "dark at 5 p.m." afternoons are right around the corner.

As you watch those increasingly early sunsets and the passing foliage season, somewhere in the back of your mind, you know it’s almost time to turn back the clocks. But when exactly?

For this year, we turn back the clocks during the overnight hours heading into Sunday, Nov. 3. For many of us, that extra hour of sleep can't come soon enough.

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac website, the sun will rise over Medfield at 7:20 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, November 2, and it will set at 5:36 p.m. Sunrise the next morning (Sunday, Nov. 3) will be at 6:22 a.m. Sunset will be (wait for it…) 4:35 p.m. – with Darkness reportedly descending at 6:10 p.m.
