Fall craft shows, concerts and a haunted house on the calendar this weekend.

The weekend is just around the corner. If the only plans you have are not to stay home because lounging on the couch and watching TV just don’t cut it anymore, then don't worry, Medfield Patch is here to assist you! Check out our list of suggestions of events to attend, places to go, sites to see – all within driving distance of home. 

1. Orpheum Theatre Haunted House Kiddie Kraze

Where/When: , 1 School St, Foxboro; Sunday, Oct. 2, 1 p.m.

Why Go: Every Sunday through Oct. 30th, the Orpheum Theatre invites children to a Kiddie Kraze Haunted House from 1 to 3 p.m. 

Pricing: $5 admission.

2. Fall Craft Show in Norwood

When/Where: 275 Prospect St, Norwood; Saturday, Oct. 1, 9 a.m.

Why Go: The Norwood Senior Center will hold a fall craft show during its fall craft fair on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pricing: Free admission.

3.  Emma Revolution Live at UUAC at First Parish Sherborn

Where/When: , 11 Washington St, Sherborn; Friday, Sept. 30, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Emma's Revolution, the duo of award-winning, activist musicians, Pat Humphries and Sandy O will perform live Friday at 8 p.m.  All proceeds will support the social action efforts of the church. Visit their webiste to learn more at http://www.emmasrevolution.com

Pricing: $15 advance / $18 door

4. Autumn New England Craft Show

 Where/When: 1077 Pond St, Franklin; Saturday, Oct. 1, 10 a.m.

Why Go: A great fall craft show to start the season! Over 50 crafters and vendors with high quality items on display. Start your holiday shopping early and find unique gifts here for everyone in the family. Visit with Phyllis Bobillo of Norfolk at the show.  Phyllis creates beautiful wampum jewelry - earrings and necklaces made of silver, and polished quahog shells. Free door prize tickets with admission and plenty of parking. The fair is a college fundraiser for a local student.

Pricing: $1 for adults; 50 cents for seniors; kids are free.

5. The Irish Comedy Tour (Half-Way to St. Paddy’s Day) at Showcase Live

Where/When: Showcase Live 23 Patriot Pl, Foxborough; Friday, Sept. 30, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy a night of Irish Comedy with the "The Irish Comedy Tour" featuring comedians, Derek Richard, Mike McCarthy, Keith Aherne and Brendan Grace. The Dublin City Ramblers, will add authentic Irish music to the show. Doors open at 6 p.m. for 7:30 p.m. show. Seating is on a first come first seated basis, so be sure to arrive early for dinner and best seat selection.
