Weekend Planner: Oct. 28-30

Craft Show, House Of Horrors and Christmas Bazaar on the calendar this weekend.

The weekend is just around the corner. If the only plans you have are not to stay home because lounging on the couch and watching TV just don’t cut it anymore, then don't worry, Medfield Patch is here to assist you! Check out our list of suggestions of events to attend, places to go, sites to see – all within driving distance of home. 

1. The Sarah Levecque Blues Band to Perform at Perks Coffeehouse

Where/When: , 685 Washington St., Norwood; Fri., Oct. 28, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy a night of music filled with the blues, country & rock as the Sarah Levecque Blues Band takes the stage at Perks Coffeehouse.

2. Creative Craft Show Spooktacular

When/Where: , 572 Nichols St., Norwood; Sat., Oct. 29, 10 a.m.

Why Go: The Creative Craft Show will feature local artisans and vendors, Free door prizes drawn every hour, and plenty of free parking!  There will be a fabulous assortment of gifts and handcrafts! Approx 35 crafters and vendors! Gifts for everyone and every budget! Melissa Hathaway of Attleboro will be at our show with her custom fabric handbags and accessories line: 21 Third Handbags!

3. Orpheum House of Horrors

Where/When: The , 1 School St., Foxboro; Friday and Saturday nights 7 to 10 p.m.

Why Go: Don't let Halloween pass by without a scary adventure at the Orpheum House of Horrors. The Orpheum House of Horrors promises to delight and scare audiences of all ages. The main theatre features classic thrillers while the production team at the Orpheum Theatre Foxboro haunt and scare unexpected guests throughout the haunted house.

4. Powisset Farm Stand at Rocky Woods

Where/When: Rocky Woods, 50 Hartford St., Medfield; Saturday, Oct. 29, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Why Go: Powisset Farm is a Community Supported Agriculture Farm (CSA) in Dover. This will be the last weekend that the farm stand at Rocky Woods Reservation on Hartford Street in Medfield will be open. Farm fresh vegetables are available for purchase along with a chance to meet your local farmers. Learn about local and seasonal eating and explore community connections.

5. St. Patrick's Church New England Autumn & Christmas Bazaar

Where/When: , 45 E Central St, Natick; Sat. Oct. 29, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Why Go: It's never too early to think about Christmas.  St. Patrick's NE Autumn & Christmas Bazaar will feature crafters, artisans, bake sale, demonstrations, silent auctions, raffles, face painting and games for kids and so much more.  Food items available for purchase throughout the day include: Coffee & donuts starting at 9 am, Meatball subs starting at 12 noon and a sit down Pasta dinner starting at 5 pm.
