It's a weekend full of events around Medfield. From fundraisers to the annual Pops Concert, there's plenty to do if you're around town. Here's a look at this weekend's calendar:
1. Zullo Gallery, Center For The Arts, Artist's Reception
Where/When: , 456 Main St., Medfield; Friday, May 18, 6 to 8 p.m.

Why Go: Zullo Gallery, Center For the Arts, will hold an artist's reception for its latest art exhibit entitled: "Outwitting History: A Juried Exhibition." This exhibit is heavily influenced by the launch of its first “one-town, one-book” selection of 'Outwitting History' by Aaron Lansky. "Outwitting History: A Juried Exhibition," according to Zullo Gallery, features artwork that reflects any aspect of the artists' personal cultural legacy, whether family heritage, lessons or experiences learned from previous generations, or stories from the past. The reception is free and open to the public. "Outwitting History: A Juried Exhibition" will run from April 5 through June 24.

2. Medfield High School POPS Concert
Where/When: 88r South St., Medfield; Saturday, May 19, 7 p.m.
Why Go: The Medfield High School Band invites you to their annual Pops Concert organized by music students. The POPS Concert features performances by all MHS ensembles including the high school's band, orchestra, choir as well as the jazz band and choir.

3. Dwight-Derby House 15th Anniversary Black and White Gala
Where/When: 7 Frairy St., Medfield; Saturday, May 20, 6 to 10 p.m.
Why Go: Friends of the Dwight-Derby House will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the town’s purchase of this historic landmark with a Black and White Gala to be held on the premises of the 17th-century home. Guests will enjoy an evening of tasty dishes prepared by Rae’s Fresh as Sunshine and dancing under the stars. In addition to providing supporters a chance to tour the house and see the restoration progress over the past 15 years, the Black & White Gala is also a fundraiser for the next phase of restoration: installation of a working kitchen.

4. Medfield Garden Club Annual Spring Plant Sale
Where/When: , 26 North Street, Medfield; Saturday, May 19, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Why Go: The Medfield Garden Club annual Spring Plant Sale will offer perennials grown right from members' gardens. Proceeds will allow the club to continue their tradition of purchasing, planting and maintaining flowers and plants for public spaces including the Medfield Police and Fire Station. Be sure to get there early for the best selection.

5. MHS Community Teens and Medfield Lions Car Wash
Where/When: , 459 Main St Medfield; Saturday, May 19, 9 a.m. to noon.
Why Go: Proceeds from the car wash will support two charitable causes – the Children’s Hospital in Boston and the care package initiative with the Medfield Neighbor Brigade (formerly the Medfield Angels) to support local families who are facing a hardship or a temporary crisis.
