VIDEO: Pet of the Week: Meet 'Lylo'

Lylo is currently available for adoption at the Medfield Animal Shelter.

Lovable? Check. Friendly? Check. Adorable double paws? Check.

Yup, this boy has it all! Lylo showed up at a local plant nursery and hung around all summer sharing lunches with the employees and acting very happy to be their business mascot.

He got along with the resident dog, but would fight with the neighborhood cats since he is not (yet) neutered, but at the Medfield Animal Shelter he gets along with all the other cats.

He is actually a bit overweight thanks to the kindness of those at the pant nursery. His friends were afraid he wouldn't make it through the winter living outside, so his favorite person brought him to the Medfield Animal Shelter and asked to place him with "someone especially nice."

Apparently everyone at work will miss this nice boy. Within three minutes of entering his room at the shelter, he climbed the cat tree and fell asleep kneading biscuits, so he is a well-adjusted and adaptable guy.

Lylo is a handsome tabby with big mitten feet (extra toes), according to the shelter.

"He 's been neutered and updated on his vet care and is ready for a loving home with an especially nice person," the shelter said. "We estimate that he is two years old. He is friendly, chatty, playful and just a wonderful cat."

E-mail the shelter at medfieldshelter.com if you are interested in adopting Lylo.
