A Little Bit About Evan: Evan describes himself as a “curious citizen of the world” and “an aspiring polygot.” He is passionate about foreign languages and is planning to major in multiple foreign languages in college with aspirations of becoming an interpreter, translator and/or teacher. He lives by the French phrase “L’homme qui sait deux langues en vaut deux,” meaning, “the man that speaks two languages is worth two men.” He also claims to speak fluent Ubbi Dubbi from the children's show "Zoom" with his brother Rab. Evan says he is a “big-time classical music geek” and has been playing classical piano for “about 10 years.” He shares his passion for music with his mother. His favorite food to eat in Medfield is Buffalo Chicken Calzones or “Buff Chick Cals,” as he and his friends like to call them. He said his favorite part about living in Medfield is interacting with the teachers he has met at school. “I have gotten to know so many awesome people that have taught me and there’s so many people that are so dedicated to what they do,” Berry said. “I feel like the teachers I’ve had in the Medfield school system have really motivated me to learn and have gotten me to try things I normally wouldn’t have and if it weren’t for them, I probably wouldn’t be as active as I am today.” When Evan does find rare time to himself he says he likes to pick up a book and read. His favorite novel is “Slaughterhouse Five” by Kurt Vonnegut.
