Three Minutes on a Park Bench With: Rob Gregg

You may know him as the President of Medfield's Vine Lake Preservation Trust, but did you know he tries to balance work with the cemetery? We recently caught up with Rob Gregg as part of our virtual Patch Park Bench column. 

Patch: What's your morning routine?

Rob: A cup of coffee, a toasted waffle with unsalted peanut butter and chia seeds, and researching my genealogy and/or Vine Lake Cemetery, all the while realizing that I should be working.

P: What do you do for a living?

Weaving seats on antique and specialty chairs.

P: And what's the best thing about your job?

Walking to the bank with a deposit.

P: What's the hardest?

Realizing how easy it is to return to genealogy and Vine Lake Cemetery.

P: How long have you lived here?

42 years.

P: What's your favorite thing about living here?

Friends.

P: If you had to arrange a secret meeting here, where would you have it?

That I’m related to Amelia Earhart.

P: When you want a really indulgent snack here, where do you go and what do you get?

I go to my kitchen and make artisan bread.

P: What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Do what makes you feel gladdest.

P: What are you doing after this interview?
