Pet of the Week: Meet 'Emma'

Emma is an adorable tabby cat who was given up because her previous owner recently moved back in with her parents and her mother is very allergic to cats, according to the Medfield Animal Shelter.

The previous owner adopted Emma when she was seven weeks old and was heartbroken to have to part with her, the shelter said.

"Emma is scared to find herself at the shelter and we are not yet sure if she gets along with other cats," the shelter said.

Emma has lived with dogs, birds, and a ferret and got along with all of them. She played with the dogs and would be a great fit for a family looking for a dog-friendly cat.
