Pet of the Week: Meet 'Betty'

Betty is available for adoption at the Medfield Animal Shelter.

The Medfield Animal Shelter placed Betty in a home in January 2010, but she has been returned to the shelter due to a change in her family's situation and is once again in need of a home.

Here's what her most recent family had to say about her:

"Betty is a loving, loyal, and friendly Beagle mix. Though approximately 10 years old, she has more energy than you might expect, and really enjoys long walks and hikes. She is good with children and adults alike though she would probably best be suited to a more mature owner, as she isn't especially playful. Betty is house trained and is crated at night. She is affectionate and sweet, and always looks as though she is smiling.  Betty is bigger than a Beagle and weighs 46 lbs. She is good with other dogs, and seems to enjoy their company. If you are looking for an easygoing dog that will make a seamless transition to your home, Betty is the dog for you."
