Medfield's Fourth of July: By the Readers for the Readers

We want you to drive our Fourth of July coverage.

Happy Fourth of July!

In the spirit of democracy we're asking you, the readers, to drive our Fourth of July coverage (and yes, we know that "by the people for the people" was from the Gettysburg Address, but the theme still fits).

Here's how it works:

Find out what's happening in Medfieldwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Whatever event you are at today, wherever you stand on a parade route in the area or perfect viewing spot you find for fireworks, whatever you see, hear, smell, taste, anything; send it to Medfield Patch and we'll immediately post it to our social media pages: Facebook and Twitter - and eventually Medfield Patch (we need enough content to make a Medfield Patch page).

You can send your pictures, comments, commentary, thank yous and congratulations via e-mail (Jeremie.Smith@Patch.com) or text (774-232-8220).

And if you see one of our Medfield Patch reporters, say hello!

Be sure to check out Medfield Patch for what your neighbors are saying about the Fourth of July events and our other Fourth of July specific conent, including a great piece by town historian Richard DeSorgher on Medfield and its history surrounding Independence Day.

And as always, thanks for reading!
