Medfield's First Baptist Church to Hold 18th Annual Cookie Walk on Dec. 10

The 18th Annual Cookie Walk, hosted by Medfield's First Baptist Church, will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at the curch from 9 a.m. until it sells out.

The countdown has begun: 25 days until Christmas.

With the calendar turning to December, the Medfield community will begin to indulge in holiday events and cheer. One of those events has been taking place annually for 17 years at Medfield's and will take place again on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 9 a.m.

The event, as many of you may recall, is the church's annual Cookie Walk, which promises to have "delicious, homemade cookies" available for purchase just in time for the holiday season. The cookie walk begins at 9 a.m. and runs until the cookies are sold out, which according to Bonnie Finley, Chair Board of Deacons at Medfield’s First Baptist Church, happens "in about an hour."

"[There's an] unbelievable amount of cookies and we do sell out in an hour – roughly 800 dozen cookies," Finley said.

Cookie Walk patrons purchase empty bakery boxes at the door and walk around tables laden with a large assortment of fancy, homemade cookies, filling their boxes as they go. Small and medium are available for purchase; with prices ranging from $20 for a loaf size box and $35 for a medium cake box.
