Grab & Go Kids Planner: Turkeys and Holidays

Turkeys, Bazaars & Santa are on the agenda for this weekend.

  • , located at 35 S. Main St. in Sherborn will hold their Annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fair has activities for the young and old alike including games, holiday crafts, a special shopping area just for children and raffles. Enjoy minestrone soup and baked goods while having your child take their picture with Santa. Admission is free.
  • , located at 293 Moose Hill St. in Sharon, invites the family to a Turkey Search walk on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 3 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Have your nature questions answered during an interpretative Sunday Saunter walk in search of turkeys. Walks are cancelled in inclement weather. Admission is free.
  • Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Norfolk will hold a Turtle Trekkers Program, Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Join a Stony Brook teacher on the trails and learn about nature. This fun event will also include crafts, activities and lots of laughter. This month's theme: Terrific Turkeys!  This program is suited for children of the ages 2.9 to 6 with a parent.  Pre-registration is required for all programs.   • Santa's Wonderland has returned to the at in Foxborough. Your children can enjoy a weekend filled with games, activities and crafts. Make a Snowman Door Hanger on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. or take a free photo with Santa on Sat., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Sun., noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
