Grab & Go Kids Planner: Holiday Events

Holiday movies, fairs and tree lighting events are on the agenda for this weekend.

  • Showcase Cinemas De Lux located at Patriot Place in Foxborough, will feature the holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life" on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. Admission is free with a donation of non-perishable food item to benefit a local food pantry.
  • The Norwood Recreation Department will hold their annual at the Town Common on Sunday, Nov. 27 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Bring the whole family to the Town Common & Walter J. Dempsey Memorial Bandstand for an afternoon of holiday entertainment and fun activities including hayrides, holiday readings, tree lighting, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and so much more. From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Head over to the Civic center for face painting, holiday crafts and seasonal music with music provided by 105.7 WROR. Admission is free.
  • Santa's Wonderland has returned to the at in Foxborough. Your children can enjoy a weekend filled with games, activities and crafts. Make a Santa Bobber Ornament on Saturday and Sunday from noon. to 5 p.m. or take a free photo with Santa on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
  • The Town of Needham will kick off their holiday season with the 57th annual on the on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 5:30 p.m. This holiday event will also feature a visit from Santa Claus, who will arrive on a fire truck. Admission is free and open to all.
