Goodbye Party for Coach Kevin

Coach Kevin is leaving his position on Friday, Nov. 8.

The public is invited to say goodbye to Kevin Ryder on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Pfaff Community Center. Pizza and cake will be served.

On Friday, "Coach Kevin" will be leaving his position as Program Coordinator with the Medfield Parks and Recreation Department to take a similar position in Wellesley.

"For over five years, he has raised the quality of the Parks & Recreation programs and has made many positive connections with families and children under his care," MPR Director Jim Snyder said in an email invitation to the public. "It is obvious that he has taken great pride in creating creative, engaging, safe and affordable programs for the Medfield residents of all ages."

Said Snyder, "If high fives are the measurement of success, then he will certainly go far as a Parks & Recreation Professional.  Medfield will miss him greatly and Wellesley will benefit from his leadership."

A suggested RSVP to medfieldpr@comcast.net is appreciated.
