Here's a look at the day ahead for Tuesday, May 29.

Today's Forecast: Tuesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 83. South wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Tuesday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 9 p.m. Patchy fog after 1 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 66. Southwest wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
