5 Things: Board of Water & Sewer Public Hearing, School Concert and Storytime

Here's a look at the day ahead for Thursday, May 24.

Today's Forecast: Thursday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. South wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Thursday Night: A chance of showers, mainly between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. South wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Notable Events:

  • The Medfield Board of Water and Sewer will hold a public hearing regarding a water & sewer rate increase tonight at 7. The meeting will be held in the in the Warrant Meeting Room on the first floor.
  • Medfield's fourth, fifth and sixth graders will host an Orchestra Concert at the at 7 p.m.
  • will hold a Pattycake Place Story Time at 10:45 a.m. Children, ages 0-23 months old are invited to participate in the interactive storytime with their caregivers. Also at the library today, will be the Book Bunch Storytime, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for preschoolers, ages 2 and up.
