Here's a look at the day ahead for Thursday, May 17.

Today's Forecast: Thursday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 72. North wind between 8 and 11 mph. Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 42. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph.

Notable Events:

  • The Medfield Conservation Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Medfield .  The meeting agenda can be found HERE.
  • will hold a National Honor Society Induction Ceremony tonight at 7:30 p.m.

  • Join Richard Ferland, a lifelong photographer and graduate of Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts - CDIA, at 7 p.m. to hear about his experiences on living and traveling to China. Ferland will also share when is the best time to travel to China, what and how to shop and bargain, phrases to help you get by and gain acceptance and tips on how to interact with the locals. He will also present a slideshow featuring his award-winning photographs of China.
