Farewell, Gentle Reader

Your editor is changing today.

Today is a new day at Medfield Patch as I leave my post as editor to assume the reigns of Westwood Patch and Walpole Patch

Since starting with Medfield Patch when we went live in Dec. 2010, I have covered many interesting stories in our great little town -- everything from bear sitings to Lord's closing to the Grist mill's new wheel -- and have met many wonderful people.

I have learned a great deal by attending governmental meetings and I encourage folks, who can, to attend or watch televised replays of these meetings as our town officials deal with many changes going on in town -- new businesses on Main Street, proposed new businesses like a marijuana cultivation facility, affordable housing, new town garage, Medfield State Hospital, and a great deal more.

And though your local editor will change, most things will stay the same.

You will continue to see high-quality hyper-local stories in our daily newsletter and on the site throughout the day. Patch is committed to continued coverage of events that are important to you, so if you have story ideas, be sure to submit them to your new editor. Plus, you will continue to see posts from me as I see and attend interesting events in Medfield (and you can post, too).

So, farewell Gentle Reader, I'll see you around town.
