Families Say Farewell to Park & Rec's Kevin Ryder

Today is the last day for Medfield Parks and Recreation Program Coordinator Kevin Ryder.

About 100 people attended a goodbye party for Kevin Ryder on Thursday night.

Ryder has served as Program Coordinator for the Medfield Parks and Recreation Department for more than five years. Today is his last day before he takes a similar position in the town of Wellesley.

"Kevin has done so much for the town of Medfield," said MPR Director Jim Snyder, noting it will be difficult to replace Ryder. "There will be some big shoes to fill."
