The First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Medfield will hold their annual “Mardi Gras” Charity Auction tonight in the Church Vestry. This annual event allows members, friends and supporters in the local community to gather and raise money for the continuing work of the Church and to maintain the historic meetinghouse. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit food pantries in Medfield, Walpole, Millis, Norfolk, and Medway.
The auction will feature an evening of music performed by the award winning Medfield High Jazz Band Combo, food, wine and silent and live auctions. Among the items up for auction include; six sets of four Red Sox tickets, a time share in Puerto Rico, homemade dinner for six, a Boston weekend getaway, cases of wine, and a football signed by Patriots player Vince Wilfolk.
Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
