Drop-in Gardening

April Daley, our Volunteer Coordinator and Master Gardener, will be in the gardens at Stony Brook for informal drop-in sessions. Come and do a little gardening in our vegetable garden, bird and butterfly garden or in our native plant garden. Each week information and hands on application of various gardening techniques will be available for gardeners of all ages. Topics will cover garden planning, companion planting, organic gardening, raised bed gardens, pest management, healthy soil, composting, garden ecology and much more. Our goal is that you will learn a little (at least) and have a lot of fun.
