CONTEST: Deck Your House and Win $100K for Medfield Public Schools
Dress up your house for the holidays, submit a photo to Patch and have a chance to win $100,000 for Medfield Public Schools! A great way to celebrate the holiday season while earning money for our schools.
Patch is gearing up for another great contest and you have the opportunity to win the Medfield Public Schools $100,000!
Here’s how the contest works: Beginning on Dec. 8 and continuing through Dec. 26, you can nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form on the contest site. During that same time period, you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home. The winning entry will be forwarded to a national Patch judge who will select 24 finalists. Each finalist will receive $500 that he or she can apply to his or her December electric bill!
From Dec. 30 through Jan. 8, you will be able to vote for the Best Decked House in all of Patch. The grand prize winner’s school district will receive a $100,000 check from Patch.
So, get out your lights and ladders – and competitive/school spirit! Whether your style is sophisticated or silly, we want you to dress up your Medfield home in the name of holiday fun and for our Medfield students.

We had zero entries in and don't want our town to miss out on this great opportunity to earn $100,000 our Medfield schools. So, I'm blaming the for the lack of entries in October's contest and am hoping for strong community engagement around town this time around! Patch is offering finalists $500 towards their December electric bill so there's no excuses for not having a decked out house!
Let's have Medfield well represented in this contest for a chance to win $100,000 for our school system! If you love decorating your house for the holidays, be sure to submit a photo or video of your house "decked out" to enter this contest! If your neighbor happens to be like Chevy Chase's character, Clark Griswold in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, let them know about the contest and make sure they enter! Just think of the ways ! And remember, if you're a finalist, Patch will cover $500 of your electric bill for December, so no excuses, deck your house like a champion!
