Today's Forecast: Tuesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 47. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph. Tuesday Night: Rain, mainly after 10 p.m. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog after 1 a.m. Low around 40. Southeast wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

  • Seniors are invited to enjoy a relaxing and body stretching mat yoga workout on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. followed by Chair Yoga Exercises at 10:45 a.m. at the Center at Medfield. This is another class offered through the COA at no cost. Community members are encouraged to drop in and try a class.
  • The student council invites all residents to attend their school's first-ever "" at the Calvin George Fisher Memorial Field at 6 p.m. The teams are comprised of over 100 girls from the junior and senior classes. This event promises to be fun for the whole family. Admission to the game is $3 and the student council will be running a concession stand.
  • The will hold a "Bonjour, Les Amis" french program for children on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. This program is for children in grades 2 to 5. Children will have the opportunity to learn French through games and activities. Please register for this program by calling the library at (508) 359-4544 ext. 8014.

Fun Fact of the Day:  The annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tradition began in the 1920's.
