Today's Forecast: Friday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for rain and snow showers before 3 p.m., then a slight chance of rain showers between 3 and 4 p.m. Patchy fog between 7 and 10 a.m. High near 48. South wind 5 to 13 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 27. West wind around 9 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

  • The Medfield Library will be closed Saturday, Feb. 18th through Monday, Feb. 20th for the President's Day Holiday and will re-open on Tuesday, Feb. 21st.
  • Blake Middle School will hold their annual volleyball tournament for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders today. Students will put their volleyball skills to the test and a champion for each grade will be chosen and then teams will compete against their teachers.
  • Warriors' Friday: The boys' and girls' varsity basketball teams will hit the courts this evening. The girls' team will host Millis at 6:30 p.m. for Senior Night, while the boys' team travels to Millis for a 6:30 p.m. game.
  • Senior Happenings at the Center: Tai Chi 10 a.m. ($5 per class) and Ladies Indoor Bocce 11 a.m. Please note the Center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20th for President's Day.
