Weekend Forecast: Saturday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 59. West wind between 5 and 10 mph. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 41. Light south wind.

 : The annual Kingsbury Classic 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. The 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 9 a.m, followed by the 5K at 10 a.m. All net proceeds of the race will provide scholarships for local high schools and will give support to a wide range of youth and community services. The 5K course is a loop of mostly paved flat roads with some moderate hills. Race starts and ends at the Kingsbury Club, 2 Ice House Rd.

  : Holliston’s Jane Kohuth, the author of “Estie the Mensch,” will visit Park Street Books Saturday at 2 p.m. to perform a reading.

Live Music Fundraiser for Medfield American Legion Baseball: “Northstreet,” one of Medfield’s longest running live rock ‘n roll bands, will be performing live at the American Legion Hall on Peter Kristoff Way Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m. $5 cover charge applies and there will be a cash bar available. Robert Mintz has teamed up with Garrett Larkin, Medfield star, pro baseball player and the new head coach of the Medfield American Legion Baseball team, to keep the indoor baseball center at 106 Adams St. open for the next year. It is now known as Baseball Consultants (www.thebaseballconsultant.com) and is the home of the Medfield Legion Baseball "Tomahawks," the new nickname for Post 110.
