Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30. Calm wind. Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Calm wind becoming south between 7 and 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. South wind between 6 and 11 mph.

MEMO’s Annual Holiday Parade: Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will make their annual visit to Medfield on Saturday, Dec. 3 during the town's holiday parade sponsored by MEMO.

The parade will begin at Blake Middle School at 1 p.m., with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus accompanied by six of their elves, chosen by lottery at the annual tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 2. They will be riding through town on the sleigh at the end of MEMO’s Christmas parade. The parade route is along the following streets: South, Main, Park and Oak Streets. Fifth Annual Angel Run: This Sunday, at 2 p.m. outside the Ralph Wheelock Elementary School, will mark the fifth year of the Angel Run, an annual event created in memory of a Medfield third grader, Natasha Domeshek, who died suddenly in 2002. She was eight years old. Anyone interested in running or walking in the Angel Run can register on Sunday between 12:30 and the 2 p.m. start. The registration fee is $25 per person. A post-run celebration will be held in the Wheelock School cafeteria. For more information, click here.

Children’s Book Sale: Sponsored by The Friends of the , a Children’s Book Sale will be held Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most books are 25 cents, nicer books (Christmas gifts?) are priced a little higher. Wide range of books, including young adult, early reader, board books, picture books and chapter books are available. Also a good number of withdrawn books from the library children's room are for sale. All funds raised support library materials and programs.
