Here's a look at the weekend ahead for March 10-11.

Weekend Forecast: Saturday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for scattered snow showers, mainly before 8 a.m. Mostly sunny through mid morning, then becoming cloudy, with a high near 39. North wind between 6 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 56. Southwest wind between 6 and 13 mph. Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. West wind around 6 mph.

MHS Theatre Presents "Into the Woods": The Theatre Society will be presenting the acclaimed musical classic, "Into the Woods" twice this weekend. The musical shares how a true ending to a fairy tale would be like if you combined Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel all in one show. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sounheim. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at . Showtimes are Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Lowell Mason Auditorium of the high school.

Memorial and Wheelock CSA's Winter Carnival: The and Schools' CSAs will hold its sixth annual Winter Carnival Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Memorial School. The carnival is the primary fundraising event and proceeds are shared between the two schools to supplement the schools’ budgets and help fund enrichment programs such as the performing arts, science, and technology. Funds have also been used to purchase books, computer equipment, software for classrooms and libraries, and  playground equipment. The Carnival is geared toward children and families, and will feature a silent auction, raffles, games, activities an inflatable slide, an obstacle course, food galore and much more.
