5 Things: Farmers' Market, MHS Senior Class Awards Night and Storytime

Here's a look at the day ahead for Thursday, May 31.

Today's Forecast: Thursday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a patchy fog before 7 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 81. North wind between 5 and 8 mph.  Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 52. North wind between 6 and 9 mph.

Notable Events:

  • Lentz & Lentz SAT Prep in conjunction with Medfield Community Education will be offering a Practice SAT Test for rising freshmen, sophomores, and juniors tonight from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at The registration fee is $10. The test will be administered in the same environment as an actual SAT. In addition, students will have their results when they leave along with a copy of the exam.
  • The Medfield Farmers’ Market will open today for a new season on the grounds of the on North Street.  The Farmer's Market will be open every Thursday, through Oct. 11 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Local and area farmers will bring fresh produce and other producers will feature food such as honey, breads, jams, jellies and more. 
  • The CSA (Community School Association) will hold a meeting at the school at 7 p.m. All parents are invited to join.
  • will hold a Pattycake Place Story Time at 10:45 a.m. Children, ages 0-23 months old are invited to participate in the interactive storytime with their caregivers. Also at the library today, will be the Book Bunch Storytime, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for preschoolers, ages 2 and up.
  • The Medfield High School Senior Class Awards Night ceremony will be held tonight in the high school gym beginning at 7 p.m. As part of the awards, the winners of the Natasha Domeshek Kindness Scholarship, funded by proceeds of the Angel Run, will be announced.
