5 Things: Selectmen Meeting, Dog License Reminder and Free Eye Screening on Saturday

Today's Forecast: Friday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 48. Northwest wind between 10 and 14 mph. Friday Night: A chance of rain showers before 2 a.m., then a chance of snow showers. Increasing clouds, with a low around 34. North wind between 3 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Medfield Lions Club Free Eye Screening: The Medfield Lions Club is hosting free eye screenings for the community with its District's Eyemobile this Saturday, March 31 at the parking lot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. No advance registration is required, it's on a walk-in basis. Screenings also include blood pressure readings and hearing tests. All ages are invited.

  • The , , and the are taking collections to help the Medfield Food Cupboard. Although the Medfield Food Cupboard will accept all non-perishable items, the following items are need for March: juice, raisins, canned pineapple & peaches, canned chicken, coffee and tea, packaged cookes and tall kitchen garbage bags. Please drop off these items at your local church any Sunday.
