5 Things: ANGP Workshop, Subway Fundraiser and Library Events

Here's a quick look at what's happening in Medfield today, March 14.

Today's Forecast: Wednesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 62. Northwest wind between 6 and 10 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm.

Notable Events:

  • Support the MHS Boosters /All Night Graduation Party by picking up a delicious lunch or dinner at .  When you place an order from 2 to 9 p.m. Subway will donate 20 percent of all sales to the "Class of 2012's All Night Graduation Party." Available for order in, or take out.
  • The Medfield All Night Graduation Party (ANGP) Committee wil hold decorating workshops every Wednesday through May from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the Cafe. Volunteers are always welcome to to assist in these weekly decorating workshops. Many hands are needed so please try to attend. No experience necessary, just your willingness to help.
  • Senior Center Happenings at the Center: Open Art 9:30 a.m.; Exercise For Life Moderate 9:30 a.m. ($3 per class); Exercise for Life Beginner Class 10:30 a.m. ($3 per class); Beginners Bridge 12:30 p.m.; Line Dancing 1 p.m. ($4 per class); Whist 1:45 p.m.; Fit To Knit 2 p.m and Bingo, Bocce and Supper Club at 4 p.m.

  • Children and teens in grades four and up are invited to stop by the Medfield Library every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. to choose and play from a collection of Wii games. The gaming station will be set up in the lower level meeting room.
  • Pattycake Place Story Time will be held at 10:45 a.m. Children, ages 0-23 months old are invited to particpate in the interactive storytime with their caregivers. Also at the library Wednesday, will be the Book Bunch Storytime, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for preschoolers, ages 2 and up.
