Dwight-Derby House 15th Anniversary Gala: On Saturday May 19, beginning at 6 p.m., the Friends of the Dwight-Derby House will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the town’s purchase of this historic landmark with a Black & White Gala to be held on the premises of the 17th-century home. Guests will enjoy an evening of tasty dishes prepared by Rae’s Fresh as Sunshine and dancing under the stars. In addition to providing supporters a chance to tour the house and see the restoration progress over the past 15 years, the Black & White Gala is also a fundraiser for the next phase of restoration: installation of a working kitchen. Tickets for the event, which are limited to 200, are $75 and are sold on a first come, first sold basis.

Medfield Garden Club Annual Spring Plant Sale at First Parish Unitarian Church: The Medfield Garden Club will hold its annual Spring Plant Sale Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Unitarian Church on North Street featuring perennials grown right from members' gardens. Proceeds will allow the club to continue their tradition of purchasing, planting and maintaining flowers and plants for public spaces including the Medfield Police and Fire Station. Be sure to get there early for the best selection.

Medfield High School POPS Concert: The Medfield High School Band will hold its annual Pops Concert Saturday in the MHS gym beginning at 7p.m. This performance will feature music from the high school's band, orchestra, choir as well as the jazz band and choir.
