5 Things: Library Events, Senior Happenings and Warriors' Softball

Here's a look at the day ahead for Friday, April 20.

Today's Forecast: Friday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 74. Southwest wind between 6 and 15 mph. Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. South wind between 7 and 11 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Noteable Events:

  • The Friends of the Dwight-Derby House will be selling tickets to its May 19th Black & White Gala Saturday between 9 and 11 a.m. at the historic home located at 7 Frairy St. Tickets cost $75 per person. Groups of 10 people may reserve a table by e-mailing ticketsgwarren@thomasandwarrenllc.com.
  • is offering a scrapbooking fun program for children in grades 3 and up in the activity room today at 2 p.m. Children are asked to bring in their favorite photos and memories and have them perserved with materials provided by the Library.   • Senior Happenings at the Center: Hand 'N Foot Card Game 9:30 a.m., Tai Chi 10 a.m. ($5 per class); Movie Time 10 a.m. and Ladies Indoor Bocce 11:15 a.m.
