5 Things: Historical Society, Town Meetings and School Sports

Here's a look at the day ahead for Monday, April 2

Today's Forecast: Monday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 33.

Notable Events:  

  • The Medfield Planning Board will meet at 8 p.m. at the Town Hall - 2nd floor - Chenery Room. The meeting agenda can be found HERE. The Medfield Site Council will hold a meeting in the high school main office conference room at 3 p.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE.
  • The Medfield Historical Society will present the third of its spring programs, “Medfield’s Other Art Gallery: Gravestone Art and Carvers in Vine Lake Cemetery,” taking place in the vestry of the at 7:30 p.m. Rob Gregg, president of Vine Lake Preservation Trust, and Vincent F. Luti, the preeminent researcher of 18th century gravestone carvers in southeastern Massachusetts, will collaborate and present their findings. Admission is free and open to the public.
  • Warriors' Monday: The boys' and girls varsity spring track teams hosts Millis at 3:30 p.m.
  • The  will hold a free support group at 7:30 p.m. to provide healing and hope for adults who are divorced or separated.
