5 Things: BOA Meeting, Library Events and Girls' Lacrosse

Here's a look at the day ahead for Thursday, April 19.

Today's Forecast: Thursday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Southwest wind between 5 and 9 mph. Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 45. South wind between 5 and 11 mph.

The 8th Annual Wishes for William Scrapbooking Fundraiser will be held this Sunday, April 22 at the Pfaff Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. An incredible amount of supplies and resources will be available to help you organize your photos into a keepsake that your family will treasure forever. The registration fee of $50 will go to benefit families of SMA (Spinal muscular atrophy). Snacks and lunch will also be provided.   • Today in Medfield, the Board of Assessors will hold a meeting at the at 7:30 a.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE.

  • Children of all ages are invited to decorate a flower pot, add soil and plant a seedling to take home and watch it grow. This event will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Activity Room. Please register for this program HERE or call (508) 359-4544 x8014.
  • Teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to join the new Teen Writer’s Club at the library today from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Conference Room. From beginners to advance writers, this group is your opportunity to connect with fellow writers, unleash your creativity, get feedback, and have fun with writing.
